And if your Rock-type Pokémon lacks that kind of movement, the TM 086 Rock Slide is just what you need. With Power 75, Accuracy 90, and a 30% chance of causing the opponent to flinch, Rock Slide is a good move if you need to counter a group of enemies. In addition, being a TM Rock-type, Rock Slide is doubly effective against Fire, Ice, Flying, and Bug-type Pokemon. However, if that’s what you’re looking for, you should know how to get TM 086 Rock Slide in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet, and we’ll help you get there.

Where to Find the TM 086 Rock Slide in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet

Like most other TMs, you can get TM 086 Rock Slide in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet in two ways:

  • Find and pick up in the wild.
  • Craft using the TM Machine in the Pokémon Center.

First, you must find at least one TM 086 Rock Slide in the game locations. After all, to craft TM, you will need a recipe that you will receive automatically by picking up your first Rock Slide TM. Unfortunately, there are only two places with this TM in the Paldea region, so visit the one that is closer to you:

  • The first place you should go is the coastal town of Levincia. Go northwest of the city into the rocky wasteland. Soon you will see a small tower fortress, climbing on which you will find your first TM 086 Rock Slide.
  • Second TM 086 Rock Slide in the Province (Area Two). Take the local Pokémon Center as your starting point. Continue straight south across the mountains and a small lake. Soon you will find yourself in green meadows, after which go straight until you run into a small gorge. Here you will find the second TM 086 Rock Slide.

How to Craft TM 086 Rock Slide in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet

As we said earlier, if you get at least one Rock Slide TM, you will receive a recipe and be able to craft copies. So go to the nearest Pokémon Center and use the TM Machine. To craft TM 086 Rock Slide in Scarlet and Violet, choose a recipe from the list and prepare the following materials:

  • 5000LP
  • Bonsly Tears x3
  • Rockruff Rock x3
  • Nacli Salt x3
