This article is over 2 years old and may contain outdated information.

While improving your farm in Coral Island, you will have to grow many unique crops, and Cocoa Bean is one of them. Thanks to this aromatic grain crop, you can prepare several delicious and valuable holiday dishes that will be useful on the eve of the winter holidays. In addition, Cocoa Beans are an integral part of one of the offerings on the Advanced altar and are a wonderful gift for most of the island’s inhabitants. Unfortunately, obtaining the first Cocoa Seedlings can be a problem due to their price and rarity. But we will try to make this process as easy as possible.

First of all, it is worth noting that you can get Cocoa Beans by purchasing and growing Cocoa Seedlings on your farm. At the same time, you can get the desired seedlings in only two ways:

  • Buy from Sam’s General Store in the Fall and Winter for 1,500 Coins per seedling after you reach Town Rank C.
  • Or buy it in the event store during the Harvest Festival at a reduced price of 1,200 Coins.

Of course, the price of this seedling is significantly higher than most other trees or plants. Therefore, we advise you to save money and buy more Cocoa Seedling during the Harvest Festival. However, regardless of the chosen method, you can then farm Cocoa Bean in Coral Island following these rules:

  • You can plant Cocoa Beans in the Fall and Winter.
  • To plant this tree, you need to clear an area of 2×2 cells.
  • Next, you need to wait ten days for the Cocoa Seedling to grow, and on the 11th day, you will be able to harvest the first harvest.
  • After the first harvest, you can harvest subsequent crops every third day.
  • You can harvest an average of 2 Cocoa Beans from one tree during each harvest.

Coral Island: Using Cocoa Bean

Once you have a lot of Cocoa Beans, the first thing you can do with it is sell it. The cost of this grain can range from 85 to 170 Coins, making it an excellent good even in its raw form. If you don’t need money, you can give this item as a gift to most NPCs living on the island. Cocoa Bean makes a good gift for almost any character except Macy, Lily, Leah, Pablo, Scott, and Yuri.

As for more practical uses of Cocoa Bean, you can use one Cocoa Bean at least Silver Quality as a Fruit Plant offering in the Advanced altar. And finally, we must mention the culinary potential of Cocoa Beans. After all, you can prepare three delicious holiday meals using this product.
