While friendship is not usually measured in levels, we all know how Disney Dreamlight Valley does things differently. Early-game characters like Scrooge McDuck and Mickey Mouse will be some of the first characters you are friends with. However, you will need to level up your friendship with them as the game progresses. In fact, without leveling up your friendship, you can’t move forward in the quests offered by each character. Leveling up your friendship also provides other advantages, such as discovering valuable items when exploring tasks with these characters. With so many positives, it’s important to level up friendship fast in Disney Dreamlight Valley.

Fastest Ways to Level up Friendship in Dreamlight Valley

You can level up the friendship levels for each character to 10 at max. At each level, you will receive a prize, which is usually a rare item in the game. While Goofy, Scrooge McDuck, and Mickey Mouse are some of the first characters you encounter, you will come across many other characters in other realms. Without further ado, let’s see how you can level up friendship fast in Disney Dreamlight Valley.

  • Hang out with characters – You can go fishing, mining, or fishing with other characters.
  • Presents for friends – You can also interact with characters to know what things they like. This will give you a chance to gift them their favorite things to boost friendship. Also, try gifting them flowers. This can seriously affect your friendship positively. Put your cursor on a character and look at the bottom right-hand side of the screen. You will notice a list of their three favorite things of the day. Gift them the items you can find easily, and that should cover it.
  • Talk and discussions – You can also chat with the characters. Ask them various questions, such as their experience during a certain adventure. The friendship increase that idle chat provides is minimal, yet it does provide some lore about your favorite Disney characters.
  • Character-specific quests – Completing character-specific quests can grant a significant boost to your friendship levels. However, it requires you to grind and put in some time and effort to solve the quests.

That sums up everything you need to know about leveling up friendship in Disney Dreamlight Valley.
