Mushu’s Congee is a five-star recipe in Disney Dreamlight Valley inspired by the bowl of porridge made by Mushu the dragon from the 1998 animated film Mulan. While many fans have mixed feelings about the latest live-action entry to the renowned franchise, few can argue that the beloved Mulan cartoon is filled with timeless iconic moments, such as when Mushu prepares breakfast for Mulan before her combat training. In the scene, Mushu calls his comically smiling dish “porridge.” However, Disney Dreamlight Valley accurately labels this meal as “Congee, ” a rice porridge common in many East Asian countries.
