Starfield’s ship-building feature has proven to be better than we all thought. Many players are looking for ways to make their dream ship. While this mechanic is quite expensive, and you’ll need a lot of patience to achieve the best-looking results, you can start by making simple designs of other media that people know. Today, we’ve worked on an X-Wing ship for Starfield. Thanks to a user on Reddit, everyone can now make a ship to take to a galaxy, far, far away. You’ll need to unlock a few ship parts and gather many credits, but once you have it all, you can build your X-Wing in Starfield. Here, we’ll tell you the parts we’ve used and how much they cost us.

How to Build an X-Wing Ship in Starfield

First and foremost, we need to say that the original design for this ship is from user Fudgiebrown on Reddit. They made the first X-Wing ship in Starfield, and we used most of their design to create our own. In an attempt to make our own, we changed a few things to reduce costs while still maintaining the essence of the starship. Before we delve into specific, here are the parts we used:

  • Nova Cowling 2L-TF x2
  • Nova Cowling 2L-TM x4
  • Nova Galactic 2×1 Hab x3 (You can choose the variant you prefer)
  • NG-6 Landing Bay x1
  • NG-10 Landing Gear – Port Fore x4
  • M40 Ulysses He3 Tank x2
  • Magellan C1X Cockpit
  • Deimos Hull A x6
  • Deimos Wing A Port x2
  • Deimos Wing A Stbd x2
  • 30S Protector Shield Generator x1
  • Connect-Pro Docker – Top x1
  • White Dwarf 1000 Engine x2
  • 330T Stellarator Reactor x1
  • R-1000 Alpha Grav Drive x1
  • 100CM Ballast Shielded Cargo Hold x1
  • PBO-30 Auto Electron Beam x2 (Set as Weapon 0)
  • Flare-P 15MW IR Pulse Laser x1 (Set as Weapon 1)
  • CE-09 Missile Launcher x1 (Set as Weapon 2)

X-Wing Building Process

Now that you know which parts to use, let’s begin this X-Wing ship in Starfield.

  1. Star by placing the NG-6 Landing Gear

  2. Continue by placing 2 of the Nova Galactic 2×1 Habs on top of one another.
  3. Get the 4 Nova Cowling 2L-TM parts and place them on each other. You must flip the bottom ones.

  4. Add the 2 Nova Cowling 2L-TF parts to each other and put them at the front of your ship.

  5. Place the last Nova Galactic Hab a little far behind the previous two. Half of it should be hanging.

  6. Add the cockpit in front of the last Hab you placed.
  7. Place the reactor, the Grav Drive, and the cargo hold from top to bottom below the hanging part of the last hab.

And there you have it, that’s the process to build the X-Wing Ship on Starfield. Again, the original design is on Reddit if you want to go for that; ours only has a reduced cost and fewer pieces. Still, both work to make you feel like a Rebel pilot.

Starfield is out now on Xbox and PC.
