After rescuing the blacksmith and building his own shop to add him to your base, he will give you missions to rescue people from the Realm of Embervale. In Enshrouded, one of the first rescues you will have to do for the blacksmith is the Hunter Vault, in which you will have to solve several puzzles. You will need to open a door with three seals to finish the vault and get the hunter NPC to take him to your base. This NPC will help you create new items for your camp.Â
Enshrouded: How To Complete the Puzzle in the Hunter’s Vault?
After installing the blacksmith in your camp, a question mark will appear over his head to let you know that he has new missions for you. He will ask you to rescue the survivors of his people, among them the hunter, whom you must rescue from the vault northeast of Longkeep. It is best that you have the grappling hook before starting this mission. This tool will be handy for crossing the big bridge on the way to the hunter’s vault. Also, you must use it to solve the puzzle. This is what you must do to get the chest with the three seals:
1. In the vault, you will go up a large staircase to an energy trap, which is easy to pass.
2. Then, you will have to go up another set of stairs, with a brazier and a pillar on each side. On the left side is the vault door closed and with the three seals off.
3. Afterward, you should go to the right side of the stairs, where an open door opens. Go inside, and there you will see the first seal to activate.
4. Return to the right side; the second seal will be on the pillar facing the stairs. It would help if you had a long-range weapon to activate it; it can be a bow or a wand.
5. On the side you prefer, next to the pillars, there will be a brazier. Climb on the brazier; there, you can see the third seal all the way to the end of the vault.
6. Aim the grappling hook on the ceiling in the middle of the room. When you jump, aim at the corners of where the seal is. There will be a mesh that will help you climb up to where the mechanism is.
7. Activate the seal, and the door with the three indicators should open.
8. Finally, use the grappling hook again to go down and access the chest room.
Getting the Hunter NPC will not be affected if you access or not to the puzzle chest in this vault, but in Enshrouded, you might get some equipment. In this title, as in other games, it is always best to check as many loots and chests as possible. You never know what may appear inside.
