If you have accidentally fallen into one of the incredible waterfalls of Lake Akkala, take this as an opportunity to learn how to unlock Jochi-Ihiga Shrine in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom. In this game, there are two kinds of shrines: some are completed inside the shrine, and others, like the Jochi-Ihiga Shrine, are completed outside the shrine. To solve this puzzle and get the rewards, you must retrieve a green rock to power the shrine up.

Jochi-Ihiga Shrine is located northeast of Central Hyrule, east of Kaepora Pass, on the edge of Lake Akkala Falls above Akkala Falls.

Head to Tarrey Town, located north of Jochi-Ihiga Shrine. Look for a character named Hagie standing next to a tree. Instead, Hagie will be standing next to a precious green rock.

Hagie will offer to trade you the green rock for 100 Rupees. However, thanks to Ruli’s intervention, you can negotiate the price down to 50 Rupees. Pay the agreed price to obtain the green rock to complete Jochi-Ihiga Shrine in Tears of the Kingdom.

Use your Ultrahand skill to grab the green rock and attach it to the wooden platform before you. This platform is connected to the railcar, which will get you downstairs. Climb next to the green rock and hit the railcar to activate the Zonai devices. This will set it in motion, like a roller coaster that transports you to the Hudson Construction Site.

Once you reach the construction site, use your Ultrahand ability to lower the green rock from the vehicle. Next, move to the left, where you will find wooden planks, poles, and fans. Use your Ultrahand skill to fuse two fans to a wooden plank, creating a water vehicle. Then, atop this raft, attach the green rock. We’ll head to Jochi-Ihiga Shrine in Tears of the Kingdom with this vehicle.

Use your Ultrahand skill and move the fusion to the shore nearby. When you hit the water, place your vehicle on it and use the fans to gain momentum. Next, move from left to right, crossing the water to reach the other bank in front of the first waterfall. Place the green rock there.

Jochi-Ihiga Shrine in Tears of the Kingdom will unlock with the green rock in place. Once inside, you will find a chest containing a valuable Diamond.

Tears of the Kingdom is available on Nintendo Switch.
