Resident Evil 4 Remake has even more unlockables and chests compared to the original game, and unlocking them requires solving a puzzle or finding a certain key. How to Unlock Wayshrines in Resident Evil 4 Remake
In the first several chapters of Resident Evil 4 Remake, you will come across several Wayshrines, but you won’t be able to unlock them. There are 5 Wayshrines in the game, and they can only be accessed until you reach Chapter 6, and after that, you won’t be able to unlock them.
In order to unlock these Wayshrines, first, you have to reach Chapter 4 in the game. In this chapter, after you’ve defeated Del Lago, you will be heading to the Boathouse. Follow the only path that is available until you reach the cave entrance.
You will face some Ganados as well until you reach a mural with two large stone hands that you must solve in order to progress through the game, but that is not our concern right now. Simply pass the shrine and continue your path.
You will eventually reach the end of the cave where it will lead to a second dock. In this dock, you will also find a note mentioning the hunt for a Golden Chicken if you want to take that as well. On the right side of this place, however, you will see a little wooden box.
Open this box and in it, you will find the Old Wayshrine Key inside it. Now that you’ve got this key, you can unlock all five Wayshrines in the game. The Wayshrines contains money and other valuables that you can sell at Merchant.
