A mother in Indiana was left furious after she discovered that her 5-year-old daughter was allegedly strangled by a boy while at school.

The mother shared a video of herself heading to her daughter’s kindergarten. She said the school secretary called her to inform her that a young boy had allegedly placed his hands around her daughter’s neck and thrown her to the floor. According to the mother, another boy was also involved in the incident, and both children were reportedly placed on suspension from school.

The mother also alleged that this was not the first time the same boy had attacked her daughter. She claimed he had previously spat at the child in an earlier incident. After returning home, she further described the situation, alleging that the boy slammed her daughter against a wall and then strangled her. She also claimed that the two boys targeted her daughter and had been conspiring about the attack.

In addition to her earlier claims, the mother said she wanted to meet the parents of the boys involved. “This is not just your typical kids,” she said. After returning home, she also shared that she began teaching her daughter basic self-defense in response to the situation.

In an update, the mom said she wanted to hold a meeting involving all parties, including the parents of the boys involved. She alleged that the school had not agreed to arrange such a meeting. She also claimed that the school’s director refused to disclose what disciplinary actions would be taken against the boys. According to her, the only information shared was that the school’s standard response for physical incidents is a three-day suspension.

The school director also reportedly offered to share the mother’s email address with the parents of the boys involved so they could contact her directly. It was also claimed that the parents were appalled by their sons’ actions. However, the mother said she does not believe the family of the boy who allegedly strangled her daughter will reach out to her.

She alleged that while she was attending her son’s practice, the family of the boy was also present. According to her account, they glared at and pointed toward her family during the event. She said the situation, combined with the previous incident, left her daughter feeling scared, so she sent her daughter to the park with her sister so she would not have to see the other family. The mother of the boy allegedly sent her daughter to the 5-year-old girl. The daughter allegedly asked her, “What was it like to be strangled by him?”

This behavior by the family led the mother to contact the school director, informing him that she believed the family was not apologetic and that she would no longer wait for an email response. She later attended a meeting with the principal, who was reportedly shocked after hearing the details of what she described had happened. Following the discussion, the principal decided that the boys involved would be expelled for the remainder of the school year.

The mother added that her daughter was emotionally shaken following the incident. She also said she took further steps by contacting the principal of the boy’s baseball team. As a result, she claimed the boy was removed from the team as well.

In another update, the mom said she had also filed a police report regarding the incident. She stated that she is not yet pressing charges. That’s because she plans to meet with an officer first before deciding on next steps. She added that she intends to take her daughter to a doctor for a medical check-up and is also seeking therapy support. In addition, she said she is looking into karate and taekwondo classes for her daughter. The mother also reported that she filed a DCS (Department of Child Services) report as part of the process.

The mom also said she requested several documents from the school. They included an incident report, a nurse’s statement, a teacher’s statement, and any available video footage related to the incident. In a more recent update, she shared that after taking her daughter to the doctor, medical staff determined the child had suffered a concussion after allegedly being slammed against a wall. She said she obtained medical documentation of the diagnosis to include in her report. No further updates have been provided at this time.

Viewers Outraged After Indiana Girl Is Allegedly Attacked

The video sparked reactions online. Many viewers reacted with anger after learning about the allegations involving the 5-year-old in Indiana. This made some offer advice on possible next steps for the mother. One person wrote, “File a police report and press charges especially if it’s a repeated issue with the same child that the school is refusing to address with actual purpose. Maybe then they’ll listen,” while another added, “Call social services on these kids and let them investigate the families.”
