Whenever a new game with the smallest multiplayer component launches, people are always asking the same questions, and that applies to Hexworks’ latest title. Given how the developers confirmed Lords of the Fallen would include multiplayer in a certain capacity, many wonder if it also has crossplay and cross-platform. This is valid to ask, as many Crusaders would love to team up with other players regardless of their platform. So, without further ado, let’s check if this new Souls game allows players to play between consoles and PCs.
Lords of the Fallen: How Does Crossplay Work?
According to an official post by the developers, the game features crossplay and cross-platform, albeit strangely. Those on PC can play with anyone regardless of their console or PC. That means PC Crusaders can pair with PS5 and Xbox Series X|S players. However, console players can only play with those on the same console and PC, meaning a PlayStation player can’t play with an Xbox gamer. While this is strange, it wouldn’t be the first time it has happened. The silver lining is that cross-platform is available, making it a feat against other modern players who decide to release that mode later or not include it at all.

Is Lords of the Fallen Multiplayer? – Answered
The great thing about Lords of the Fallen having crossplay and cross-platform is that the pool of players will be significantly larger. This means you won’t have to wait long to find someone to help or invade you; the latter is something many gamers might not be too keen on. Still, it is exciting to see this game including these options, as, in true Souls fashion, the title will be challenging, and a bit of help never hurts.
