King of Fighters, one of the most iconic fighting games, will always have a place in everyone’s heart. A recent special trailer has several King of Fighters XV announcements.
King of Fighters XV Announcements
A bunch of new characters have been added for King of Fighters XV. The trailer provided a first look at DLC-exclusive characters Kim Kaphwan and Sylvie Paula Paula. Two other fighters are also announced, but they will be playable at a much later date, namely Goenitz and Najo. To add to the excitement, the trailer provided that there are more to come, so fans are indeed eager for more announcements.Â
Thankfully, free-to-play users will have a taste of the changes because Goenitz, like Omega Rugal during Season 1, is a free addition while being DLC exclusive. There is also a bunch of new mysterious key art featuring Joe, and Andy added in the trailer.
Additionally, rollback netcode is announced for two King of Fighters titles, precisely 13 and Samurai Shodown, which the latter has been unveiled at an earlier date. Fans might experience the rollback netcode for Samurai Shodown anytime soon because it has been stated that it will be released in Spring 2023.Â
On the other hand, the King of Fighters 13 rollback netcode will be available for the PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch.Â
Veering from the topic of rollback netcode, two King of Fighters titles, 13 and 15, will be having an open beta test, with the former being available to the PS4 while the latter will be available for Windows, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X and S.Â
