After many teases, leaks, and rumors, the sequel to Kingdom Come: Deliverance has finally been revealed in a new trailer. With the last game being released in 2018 and being fixed and patched to no end, fans are ecstatic to finally get to see Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 in action.
Publisher Plaion had teased the announcement of a new game only a few days ago, soon after which, the trailer was leaked on the day of the announcement. The leak showed the same trailer you can watch below and didn’t gain much traction since the official reveal came soon after.
The official reveal happened with a 13-minute long video that showed the trailer and also gave more information about the game’s story, features, and improvements compared to the original fan favorite.
Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 picks up where the first game left off, with the same protagonist, still set in 15th-century Bohemia. Henry looks better than ever and has come far from his humble blacksmith beginnings. The sequel promises a more detailed and engaging medieval world that is going through a civil war.

The map will not be the same, however, as Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 will take place over two large areas, one from the original game, the other that is completely new and as big as the first one. So the sequel will essentially be twice the size of the first game. Places like the Trosky Castle and the town of Kuttenberg have been faithfully recreated in the game.
The combat system of the game was one of its biggest selling points, and for Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2, it will be improved even further with ranged weapons like crossbows and even single-shot guns.
Kingdom Come: Deliverance got ported over to the Switch recently, but its successor looks like it will have to wait for the Switch 2 before going portable. But for now, Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 will come out on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series S|X, and PC, near the end of 2024.
