Kylie Jenner has broken her silence on Jesus Guerrero’s death. On Tuesday, Feb. 25, The Kardashians star paid tribute to the late hairstylist with an emotional post on Instagram. Apart from sharing photos of herself with Guerrero, Jenner penned a heartwarming message explaining just how much their friendship meant to her.

Kylie Jenner began her Instagram post by revealing that Jesus Guerrero was more than a “friend” to her. “He was a light in my life, a source of laughter, comfort, love, and unwavering support,” she said. “I don’t know how I would have made it through the last almost decade without him by my side.”
The pair have worked together on a number of occasions over the years. Although their relationship may have started off strictly professional, they’ve since become best friends.
The reality star said Guerrero was someone she could always count on to be there for her. One of the things she’ll miss the most about him is his positive energy. She said Guerrero “had a way of making even the heaviest days feel lighter” by “lifting” her spirits during dark times. Now that he’s gone, Jenner is left feeling devastated. “The pain of losing you is just unbearable and i don’t know how to move forward without you,” she said. “But I know great grief is born only of great love. and I loved you so much.”
Kylie Jenner called Guerrero “the best person.” She also praised his talent as a hairstylist and said he was a “true artist” who inspired so many people in the industry.
The youngest Kardashian sister ended her tribute by saying that Guerrero will live on in her heart “forever.” Although she wishes she could hug her friend one more time, she’ll honor his memory by never forgetting the good times they shared. “I’m going to miss you so much. more than any words can say. 222 my angel,” Jenner wrote.
They Had Such A Special Relationship
To go along with her message, Jenner shared some of her favorite memories with Guerrero on Instagram. The pictures showed the pair working together behind the scenes of Jenner’s photoshoots. Guerrero could be seen touching up Jenner’s hair, as well as getting ready to snap some pictures of her with a camera in hand.
Jenner’s post also featured more intimate moments of the two together outside of work. For example, the star shared photos and videos of her and Guerrero traveling around the world together, hanging out at the beach, partying together, and even having sleepovers together. Since it’s clear the two were close, fans and celebrities shared their condolences for Jenner following her loss. “Our teams become our families. May he rest [in] heavenly peace,” model Winnie Harlow wrote.
Offering Her Support
Kylie Jenner’s Instagram tribute comes amid reports that she’s paying for Jesus Guerrero’s funeral expenses. According to People, the news of her friend’s passing has hit her “hard.” While she’s upset, she knows his family has it “so much worse.” As such, she’s decided to help them out by covering his funeral.
Prior to Jenner’s donation, Guerrero’s family created a GoFundMe to help with expenses. Since his death happened “very suddenly,” Guerrero’s younger sister, Gris, revealed the family wasn’t financially prepared for a tragedy like this. They had planned to get the money for Guerrero’s funeral through help from various donors online. However, they confirmed that Jenner has since decided to take on the cost herself. “Our family deeply appreciates Kylie for later offering to cover funeral expenses and offering up all her help and support,” Gris wrote.
Apart from Kylie Jenner, Jesus Guerrero has also worked with other celebrities like Jennifer Lopez, Katy Perry, and Selena Gomez.
