The renowned building kit company LEGO is back with a new license. LEGO has a wide catalog of sets for all ages and tastes. This company has already worked with other important franchises to create the most incredible sets, such as Star Wars or Harry Potter. This time, LEGO joined with Nintendo in a collab for a new set of the video game Animal Crossing: New Horizons.

Animal Crossing has also had its popularity for years. But it regained much more strength 3 years ago with its newest title, Animal Crossing: New Horizons, which came out for Nintendo Switch and later got its own DLC. The announcement of this collaboration appeared on Nintendo of America’s Twitter with a teaser. The LEGO video collab lasts a few seconds. Still, in it, you can see a background with the characteristic fruit trees of the game, the balloon gifts, and flowers. Also, there are some of the popular characters from Animal Crossing: New Horizons, such as:

  • Rosie, a cat.
  • Marshal, the squirrel
  • Bunnie, the bunny.
  • Julian, the unicorn.
  • Fauna, the deer.
  • Kapp’n, the turtle.
  • Tom Nook, the raccoon.
  • Isabelle, the dog.

In the past, Nintendo and LEGO already worked together with Nintendo for the Super Mario set. This set includes characters like Mario, Peach, and Piranha Plant. This collaboration is likely an attempt to attract more fans to the Animal Crossing franchise. But for now, this is all the information available. We’ll have to wait for them to make public how many characters will be or when will be the release date. But if you are already an Animal Crossing fan, take this opportunity to grow your collection or start one with this LEGO set when it arrives.
