As with many other MMORPGs, Lost Ark features various endgame content for you and your friends to grind through; one of them is called Abyssal Dungeon. The toughest, early endgame Abyssal Dungeon that you will want to complete is the challenging Hildebrandt Palace. Here’s how you can unlock and beat the bosses to complete the Hildebrandt Palace Abyssal Dungeon in Lost Ark.
Unlocking Hildebrandt Palace Abyssal Dungeon in Lost Ark
Hildebrandt Palace is one of four Lost Ark Tier 1 Abyssal Dungeons, which you will unlock after you reach Level 50, arrived at North Vern, and complete the “To Ancient Elveria” and “Waiting and Leaving” World Quest. Tier 1 itself refers to all content that starts at Item Level 250 and after you finish all Quests in North Vern to unlock Awakening Skills and Powerpass.
You should be able to easily find the entrance to Abyssal Dungeons by looking for a gray gate and a crystal icon on your map in every major city in Arkesia. Below is the list of all Tier 1 Lost Ark Abyssal Dungeons and their variations:
- Demon Beast Canyon: Item Level 340 | Ancient Elveria
- Necromancers Origin: Item Level 340 | Ancient Elveria
- Hall of the Twisted Warlord: Item Level 460 | Phantom Palace
- Hildebrandt Palace: Item Level 460 | Phantom Palace
Abyssal Dungeons like Hildebrandt Palace reward you with Gold, Ability Stones, Abyssal Gear, Dungeon Currencies (Guardian’s Will, Artisan’s Faith, Elemental’s Fury, and Knight’s Oath), Card packs, Honing materials, as well as Accessories that will have one of your Class Engravings.
Grab three friends or find reliable people online if you want to give it a try since Abyssal Dungeons are tough and need good team coordination. Although you can keep retrying the boss fights in Abyssal Dungeons when you die during the fight, you won’t be able to respawn until your group either beat the boss or everyone dies. Each of your Lost Ark characters can beat an Abyssal Dungeon once a week.

Mobs and normal enemies can be dealt with easily; the ones you should look out for in Abyssal Dungeons are the bosses. There are two bosses that you have to beat in Hildebrandt Palace: The Phantom Legion Queen and Brelshaza (or Abrelshud in the Korean server).
The Phantom Legion Queen Mechanics
The first Hildebrandt Palace boss has dangerous attacks that can deplete your health bar in seconds. So here are her moves that you need to remember:
- Circular energy attack that deals huge damage.
- Dodge it by following the purple orbs that move from the Queen’s head to the corner of the arena.
- After teleporting to the center of the arena, she will unleash a one-hit-kill energy attack.
- To avoid the one-hit-kill, look for mirrors that have the same color that will spawn in the arena. Enter them to teleport and completely bypass the attack.
Brelshaza Mechanics
Brelshaza is the second and final boss of Lost Ark Tier 1 Hildebrandt Palace Abyssal Dungeon. Always keep an eye on these moves and tell your team as well to avoid certain deaths:
- Phase 1: When the arena is tilted, she will summon a bunch of boulders while spawning ghosts and meteorites at random players.
- Get away from the boulders’ path to avoid it. Easier said than done.
- Avoid the meteors by going away from the red markings on the ground and standing beside Brelshaza. Doing this will deal damage to her instead.
- Phase 2: Brelshaza will be surrounded by a shield. After you destroy her shield, she’ll be preparing to drop a meteor. At the same time, three random players will be marked with three Light Orbs and one player will gain a white X mark.
- The shield has to be destroyed fast, or her attacks will become a one-hit-kill.
- After the shield phase is done, the three players with Light Orbs will have to group up and face the X-marked player so their Light cone will shine on the lone member of your group.
- If done properly, Brelshaza will detonate the meteor at that location and your team has to avoid that area or get a party wipe.
