Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak, the massive DLC expansion for Monster Hunter Rise, has been announced to release this summer on June 30, 2022, for both Switch and PC. Impatient Hunters might already be itching to pre-order the game, but two purchase options are the Standard and Digital Deluxe Edition. Before you click that pre-order button, though, here is the list of extra content added to your game (and everything you need to know) if you bought the Digital Deluxe Edition of Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak.

  • And Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak Deluxe Kit, which contains:
    • Dragonsbane – Hunter Layered Armor set.
    • C Hound – Palamute Layered Armor set.
    • F Devout – Palico Layered Armor set.
    • Take Aim gesture set (four gestures).
    • Fight Pose Set (three poses).
    • Elegant Eye makeup.
    • And the Fluffy Curls hairstyle.

Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak Digital Deluxe Edition costs $49.99, while the Standard costs $39.99. Nevertheless, if you’re still on the fence and prefer to get the Deluxe Kit content later, it will be available to be purchased separately on the game’s launch day (June 30) for $14.99.

If you’re just about to jump in into Monster Hunter Rise for the full experience, you would want to get the Monster Hunter Rise + Sunbreak Double Deluxe Set instead. As its name suggests, it will include both the base game and the expansion. The price and availability for this complete bundle will be revealed on the launch day as well.

There are other purchasing options too for those who like to collect physical paraphernalia. On the product page, Capcom mentioned that the base game and expansion DLC will get a physical bundle; however, pricing and availability are yet to be announced. This Switch physical bundle will also include a download code for the early purchase bonus, and the code is valid until 11:59 PM JST June 29, 2024.

Collector’s Edition

Lucky Switch owners will also be able to snag a physical release of Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak that comes with other limited-edition physical goods. The Switch Collector’s Edition contains:

  • a Malzeno amiibo can be used to unlock the exclusive Formal Dragon Hunter Layered Armor set.
  • Monster Icon sticker pack.
  • Elgado Mark enamel pin.
  • And exclusive steelbook.

However, keep in mind that this collector edition doesn’t seem to include the base Rise game, just like the digital version. Pre-orders will open soon via Gamestop.
