After law enforcement agents were called upon, Aaron Carter’s mom was arrested. The incident comes following Aaron Carter’s death and Nick Carter’s recent rough patch with the law.

The times are unpleasant for Nick and Aaron Carter’s mom, Schneck. From losing Aaron to battling the devastating news of Nick’s sexual battery case, the mother-of-five has had a tumultuous couple of months. However, things aren’t getting better for the sexagenarian. According to reports from TMZ, Schneck was arrested on Friday following a physical altercation at her home in Florida.
Per sources close to the family, the evening started pleasantly with the sexagenarian drinking with an adult family member. But it soon turned ugly when her husband complained about the loud music Schneck was listening to. The loud music impaired Schneck’s husband’s ability to sleep. The couple engaged in a verbal altercation over the remote control that translated into a physical one.
After the physical altercation, Schneck’s husband called law enforcement agents to their home. Schneck was arrested and jailed after the police inspected the evidence against her. She was booked for battery on Saturday morning and released on a $100 bond in the evening.
Aaron Carter’s Mom 2004 Battery Case
Nick and Aaron Carter’s mom’s recent brush with the law isn’t her first. Schenck is no stranger to getting arrested for battery. In January 2004, she was arrested and charged with battery. The charges were leveled against her after she allegedly attacked her estranged husband’s girlfriend, Ginger Elrod.
Per People, Schneck gained access to her estranged husband’s property by breaking the window with a rock. She found her way into the couple’s bedroom, where she dragged Elrod out of the bed. Schneck then proceeded to physically assault her estranged husband’s girlfriend with a remote control. Schneck spent time in jail but regained her freedom after perfecting her bail conditions. Although the couple resolved not to press charges, they secured a restraining order against the mother of five.
The Carter family is in a rough phase following Aaron’s demise and Nick’s sexual assault case. With Nick and Aaron Carter’s mom’s recent brush with the law, the family’s woes are nowhere near ending.
