Oprah Winfrey has shocked fans as she shows off her “thinner than ever” figure following her recent weight loss. The talk show host, 69, was just one of the many famous faces attending the 3rd Annual Academy Museum Gala last weekend, and talk is of her whittled-down frame.
Oprah rocked up to the event in a gorgeous, shimmery purple gown from designer Dolce & Gabbana, and the clingy fabrics were showing the mogul’s much trimmer frame. Oprah has made headlines for denying using weight loss drug Ozempic, something she addressed two months ago.
Oprah Winfrey Stuns At Gala Showing Weight Loss
Flaunting her hourglass figure as she also showed off her age-defying good looks, Oprah sizzled for red carpet photos while going figure-hugging in her floor-length dress.
Opting for long sleeves, a high neckline, and a small train, the TV star oozed glam as she also rocked cream-colored pendant earrings, plus her signature eyeglasses. Oprah, who turns 70 next month, completed her chic look via a discreet manicure, plus ring jewelry. Posting a shot of her red carpet outfit to Instagram, Oprah told her 22.8 million followers:
“It’s a purple kind of night. Off to the @academymuseum gala with my @thecolorpurple family 💜.” Comments and numbers of likes are both disabled on the account, however reality face Kyle Richards did leave a like.
Denies Taking Weight Loss Drug Ozempic
Oprah, who has publicly battled her weight over the years and even fronted weight loss brands as she overcame her issues, spoke out earlier this year to address allegations that she’d lost weight by taking Ozempic.
“I don’t know that there is another public person whose weight struggles have been exploited as much as mine,” she revealed, adding that “one of the things I carried so much shame for, and even when I first started hearing about the weight loss drugs, at the same time I was going through knee surgery and I felt, “I’ve got to do this on my own because if I take the drug, that’s the easy way out.'”
Oprah then said that like people who have undergone bariatric surgery, she’s got to “do it the hard way.”
Referencing body-shaming she’s undergone, The Oprah Winfrey Show host continued: “I know all that comes with that and I get treated differently if I am 200 plus pounds versus under 200 pounds … there is a condescension; there is a stigma.” Also known for having been body-shamed on social media are stars including actress Ariel Winter and singer Selena Gomez.
