Internet users were left outraged after a man in Ohio was accused of slapping a comedian on the backside while she was walking down a street.
During daylight hours, comedian Kelly Collette was walking along a street in Cincinnati, Ohio, when a man riding a bicycle passed beside her. According to surveillance footage taken from a nearby establishment, the man slapped Collette on the backside as he rode past, causing her to scream.
After the incident, Collette could be heard yelling, “What the [expletive]?” as the man continued riding away. She then took off her slippers and ran after him, presumably attempting to throw them at the suspect in an effort to stop him.
Later, it was reported that this was not the first time the man had committed a similar act against a woman. According to Local 12, the man, identified as Roger Styles, was later arrested. Court documents from the Hamilton County Municipal Court show that he has been charged with “three counts of sexual imposition.”

The incident involving Collette shocked many people online, leading to widespread discussion about safety in public spaces and calls for stronger measures and laws to better protect women from similar assaults.
