Earlier today, Sony held a conference to reveal the PlayStation 5 along with over 20 games that will be coming to the console over the next few years. While a Horizon Zero Dawn sequel and the next Resident Evil was announced, Sony still has not announced an official release date or price point for the console.
Sleekest Console On the Block
It seems as though PlayStation fans will have plenty of options when it comes to the newest console. Sony revealed two versions of the vertical console, one of which being the “digital version” that ditched a traditional disk drive. The PlayStation 5 can be placed vertically (as seen above) or horizontally to better suit the players needs. Along with the console, Sony revealed a series of goodies including a DualSense charging station, an HD camera, Pulse 3D wireless headset and a media remote.
Sony also went into detail about their new controller. The PlayStation 5’s controller will feature adaptive triggers, haptic feedback and crisp 3D audio. A specialized create buttons allows players to share content more efficiently.
