Also, utilizing a lure at any PokeStop will increase your odds of coming across the Gengar in the wild. Additionally, you should prepare for the hunt with as much gear as possible. This means using ultra-balls, great balls, and Razz Berries to bait the Pokemon. Remember that Gengar is known to be royal to its trainers as its evolution is tied to being traded. So, if you ever possess one, remember to treat it well.

Where to find Shiny Gengar

Incidentally, you can locate Shiny Gengar anywhere where ordinary Genger is, and this makes sense since one is just an altered version of the other. Alternatively, you can evolve Haunter to Ganger. Haunter is a dual-type Pokemon from Ghastly from level 25, which can evolve to Gengar after being traded or exposed to a linking cord.  The Linking Cord is an item introduced in Pokemon Legends Arceus. It works the same way as the Leaf Stone.
