Whether you’re an Eevee fan or need to complete all the Pokedex entries, you’ll need to learn where the Mossy Rock is located in Pokemon Legends: Arceus. First introduced in Pokemon Platinum, Mossy Rock is a rock (duh) that will cause an Eevee to evolve into Leafeon. But unlike the Leaf Stone item, Mossy Rock is located somewhere in the in-game world instead of being a consumable item you carry around in your backpack. Here’s where you can find it in Pokemon Legends: Arceus and evolve an Eevee into Leafeon.

Mossy Rock Location in Pokemon Legends: Arceus

Pokemon Legends: Arceus - Where to Find the Mossy Rock

The Mossy Rock is located in The Heartwood area of Obsidian Fieldlands, on the northern part of the whole Obsidian Fieldlands map, or on the western of The Heartwood. The Heartwood area is just outside the Grandtree Arena, where you fight the Noble Kleavor boss battle. Once you’re there, you can interact with the rock, and it will say that it emits strange energy. To evolve an Eevee in your party to Leafeon in Pokemon Legends: Arceus:

  1. Head over to the Mossy Rock, stand near it.
  2. Open the Satchel menu.
  3. Check the icon next to Eevee’s picture.
  4. If it blinks yellow, it means you can evolve it into Leafeon by clicking on it.

Aside from evolving the Eevee near the Mossy Rock, you can also use a Leaf Stone to transform it into its Grass-Type evolution. The Space-Time Distortions random events can also spawn Leafeon as one of the special Pokemon. Check the overworld map to see if there’s a Space-Time Distortion currently happening. Hope that helps.
