Major game releases always get risky as spoilers are becoming more common. Insomniac has warned its players that spoilers are around from Spider-Man 2, which we have uncovered to be from the trophy list and social media posts. Don’t worry; we won’t share anything that ruins one of the most heroic games of the year.
Trophy List Has Spoilers for Spider-Man 2
The two webslinger games released by Insomniac so far are reasonable lists to 100%. This time around, shouldn’t look at the list until you finish the main story. That’s because there are story and character spoilers in between activities and collectibles.
One of the other problems now with Spider-Man 2 spoilers is beyond the trophy list, as people are posting pictures online. Review codes for content creators and journalists mean people are playing to get their reviews and reactions for October 16 at 7 a.m. PT. So far, we have mostly seen the start screen, so nothing that will take away the experience. It is a slippery slope, so we want to warn you when on social media, as people may post something past the start screen.
Insomniac has been building its Spider-Verse, with this upcoming game being the third entry. After PS4 and PS5 hybrids, with PC ports, the next installment will fully utilize the power of the PS5 at a level of what we got from Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart. While Marvel games have seen mixed results, the PlayStation studio has found great success with its webslinger experience. It has done so well that it is also developing a Wolverine game. As the studio is best known for Spider-Man and Ratchet & Clank, we can only imagine what Wolverine will play and look like.
Spider-Man 2 will be released on PS5 on October 20.
