They claim to have felt the bone with their teeth. “At first, I thought it was an overcooked nut, so I ate around it. Little did I know…” they wrote in a concerned tone.
According to the comments on their post, ProgramEuphoric957 might want to be even more concerned, as multiple Redditors are certain that this KIND bar’s bone could be human. More specifically, people deduced that it was a finger bone, based on the shape and size.

“Definitely a finger bone. Absolute FACTS,” confidently exclaimed a user. “Some employee is lookin for that finger bone hahaha,” laughed a second. “And it’s not even one of the end bones of the digit, there’s still finger food out there somewhere!” remarked another.
One commenter questioned how this could have even happened, as a worker losing a finger on a production line would surely result in a temporary shutdown to keep products free of human parts. “You ever worked in a warehouse? Packaging like this usually run on belts,” started a commenter in response. “I’m guessing dude chopped his finger off and was in a bit of shock before alerting anyone or someone else noticed.”
Others chimed in, adding how companies are, more often than not, more willing to risk a lawsuit from employees than shutting down production. “It’s cheaper than shutting down the machines, cleaning and wasted product plus any internal processes and reviews that would have to take place,” explained a Redditor.
As for what the Minnesota worker did, they said the KIND bar was from their workplace. “I think HR is contacting the company. I did report to the FDA though,” they wrote in a comment.
