This article is over 1 years old and may contain outdated information.

Let’s face it: everyone has very different tastes in music, style, clothing, and much more. Food is also an area where not everyone can agree, even more so if you are a picky eater. One example is not everybody likes the taste of mayonnaise. However, Stardew Valley seems to have taken drastic measures since before its 1.6 update to convince its players to drink mayo. What do you think about this egg-based ingredient? Do you like it? Do you dislike the consistency? Or would you dare to make it part of your routine and favorite drinks like your morning coffee?

Drinking Mayo Could Be Much More Beneficial Than You Think

It all started when, in March, ConcernedApe, creator of Stardew Valley, shared on his social networks that in their 1.6 update, players would be able to drink mayonnaise. This unleashed a wave of comments, with users celebrating the new feature, others disgusted at the thought of it, and a few others sharing photos of their mayonnaise drinks. Even official Xbox accounts and other developers celebrated ConcernedApe’s milestone. As soon as the update hit all platforms equally, many players rushed to try to drink the delicious treat on their farms.

Regardless of consistency, the discussion is scrambled on how valuable mayonnaise is in this farm simulator. The truth is that the best thing to do is to make this condiment as soon as possible. At the beginning of the game, energy and food that recover energy are scarce. Meanwhile, mayo grants 50+ energy and 22+ health. You only need to reach level 2 of farming to unlock the blueprints and materials to create the Mayonnaise Machine. So, get your chickens ready to start laying those eggs because now your energy will last much longer throughout your day on the farm.
