A California creator caught a woman walking down the sidewalk with what looked like street signs in tow. The sight left viewers with plenty to say. While some joked that she was finding a new way to share her location, others weren’t laughing and argued that taking the sign was a crime.
Posted to TikTok by @revco323, the video shows a woman walking down a San Bernardino road while the creator films from across the street. She’s carrying a long pole with what appears to be a stop sign above her head. Two green street-name signs are attached to either side.
The camera follows her past a tire shop, a corner building, and a row of houses before the clip ends. The creator’s caption offers little context, but it still joins in on the fun. “Welcome to San Bernardino. Please pick up a sign and follow me.“
The Comments Have Theories
The California woman’s unusual cargo sparked plenty of puns from viewers. “Sharing her location,” one commenter wrote. Another joked, “That’s one way to change your address.”
Guesses about what she planned to do with the signs came next. “Anything for shade in that heat,” one viewer suggested. Someone thought she was going to pawn them, while another pointed to the metal’s resale value. A different viewer figured she worked for the city.
Some viewers thought this was just another day in San Bernardino. “That’s probably the most NORMAL thing you’ll see on the streets of San Bernardino,” one commenter wrote. Another argued that California wouldn’t be California without scenes like this.
Other viewers focused on the legal side. Some urged the creator to call the police, while others called the behavior disgusting. “That’s an automatic felonyyyy!” one commenter warned.
Whatever was actually happening in the video, viewers had fun filling in the blanks. From guessing what the woman planned to do with the signs to debating whether her actions could get her in trouble, the comments covered pretty much every possibility.
