Bunny is what you’d call The Flash of The First Descendant due to her ability to run at supersonic speed. The character is our first storyline teammate we accompany during a quest, and we can later unlock her by completing a set of main objectives. However, once you start playing the game as Bunny herself, a new side quest for the specific character arrives called the Follow Their Traces in The First Descendant.

You can complete the Follow Their Traces quest in The First Descendant by finding and listening to a secret recording from the south part of the Sterile Land map. You must play as Bunny, and here are all the details you need to know about this mission.

After you collect all the material to research Bunny, pick the character and speak with the Alpha. You’ll find two options here: Ironheart Excavation Site and Follow Their Traces. Make sure you select both of these quests as your active, and go to the Sterile Land.

Once you arrive, you’ll have to complete the main objective of opening all the locked areas of this map. The tasks aren’t difficult; you’d only have to take some time and kill as many Vulgus forces as command says. After you’ve reached the south part of the Sterile Land, here’s where you can find the item for the Follow Their Traces quest in The First Descendant:

Here, you’ll find an interactable item on the ground. Pick it, and then play it from the Journal section of the menu. The Follow Their Traces side quest covers a backstory about Bunny and “I Bet There’s Something More” to uncover! Meet up with Alpha for more info about Bunny and her tragic story.

Amir is an absolute Call of Duty nerd, preferring shooter games more than everything. However, he does like to do uppercuts in Mortal Kombat and feel the NOS going through the engines in Need For Speed games.
