This article is over 2 years old and may contain outdated information.

Believe it or not, one of the most popular elements in Genshin Impact is Electro, which might be shocking for some. For this reason, it is always good to bring anyone who wields this element for certain reactions, such as Hyperbloom or Overload. Yet, beyond that, most characters of this element are above the highest ranks in most tier lists, whether it is because of their looks or their utility. So, if you want to add a few powerful or cute characters to your team, some Electro members are considered the best in Genshin Impact.

Our Picks for the Best Electro Characters in Genshin Impact

After careful consideration, we’ve decided to choose the best characters based on their utility, damage, and support capabilities, and a few of their looks and personalities thrown in the mix. While all the ones who belong to this element are fantastic, there are five who stand out the most, and you should consider getting them whenever a re-run for them shows up in the game.

5 Keqing

Let’s begin with the first Electro queen, Keqing. Anyone who started playing Genshin Impact during its first version will remember the coveted Keqing. She was the one who could bounce around the battlefield with grace and destroy enemies in seconds. Besides her elegance, she’s also a force to be reckoned with. Even after several years, she remains one of the best Electro characters in Genshin Impact. She’s still in some teams for the Abyss and an excellent choice for Main DPS if you’re lucky enough to get her in the standard banner.

4 Cyno

As one of the newest kids on the block, Cyno took the world by storm, at least during his first re-run. At first, many skipped him because Nahida was close, but everyone saw how useful he was once he got his time to shine. Even if he’s dubbed the “Cooler Razor,” he has a lot going for himself. He has fantastic damage output that makes him a great choice for Main DPS or even Sub-DPS with certain builds. Beyond that, who doesn’t like a guy who is an expert at cracking some good old dad jokes in Teyvat?

3 Kuki Shinobu

You might’ve not expected a 4-star to be one of the best Electro characters in Genshin Impact, but she is. As the first true Electro healer, Kuki became part of the meta for several versions and is still exceptional in many team compositions. What is great about her is her ability to heal everyone while also applying the Electro elements to other enemies, leaving room for reactions. Plus, we all wanted a ninja-themed healer, and HoYoverse delivered.

2 Yae Miko

Do you know how we all expect Electro characters to give us that fantasy of striking down enemies with lightning that falls from the sky? Yeah, that’s Yae Miko for you. She might not be the best DPS in the game, but she’s surely one of the best sub-DPS characters due to her off-field skills. She can summon totems to rain down lightning, and her ultimate is a sight to behold, just like her. Besides, she’s the leader of the Grand Narukami Shrine and the Yae Publishing House, making her one of Inazuma’s big shots.

1 Raiden Shogun

Let’s end this list with the character we don’t mind being stepped on by; we mean that due to her boss fight, of course. Raiden Shogun is the best Electro character in Genshin Impact, and that shouldn’t be a surprise for many. She’s the Electro Archon, the Almighty Shogun, the God of Eternity, and many more titles that require a full page for her. But besides that, she’s, by far, the best Electro main DPS character. If you’re lucky enough to have her at her second constellation, she can destroy any enemy with her ultimate in the blink of an eye.

As you can see, the Electro element has much to offer in Genshin Impact. It has great characters who are versatile in many situations, and having at least one on your team will make every fight much more manageable. We hope HoYoverse will keep bringing Electro characters because they are equally helpful and beautiful.
