Tulsa Man’s Car Gets Broken Into, Thief Steals Only a Bible and Leaves the Wallet: ‘I’m Not Even Mad, Just Disappointed’

They only took a Bible

Oklahoma Man Has Most Relaxed Reaction After Learning Someone Broke Into His Car

A man in Tulsa, Oklahoma, came out of his home to find that his car had been broken into, with a shattered window included. Instead of freaking out or getting mad, he reacted in the most relaxed manner, almost as if disappointed by the lack of “thievery.” Why? Because whoever broke into the car appeared to take only a Bible, leaving everything else behind.

The unorthodox reaction to such a serious incident was shared online by T&Henny. That’s the account for Takunda and Jenesis, a married couple who often share lifestyle content with their followers, mostly on their 25k TikTok account. The clip attached above soon became one of their most popular posts in recent months, garnering 1.1 million views, 236,600 likes, and more than 300 comments.

From the get-go, the Oklahoma man was oddly calm given the circumstances. His red sedan had been broken into, and the clip showed that the vehicle’s driver’s window had been shattered. Still, Takunda just called the thieves “dumb.” And the reason for this name-calling was the item they chose to grab as their bounty.

“Whoever did this, you’re dumb,” he said. “‘Cause you grabbed a tote bag with the Bible in it, which, God is going to smite you for that.”

Valuables Left Intact

Takunda said whoever broke into the car left behind several items he considered far more valuable than the missing Bible. This included, according to the Oklahoma man, an Owala water bottle, Ray-Ban glasses, his apartment keys, and, shockingly, his wallet filled with credit cards.

The Oklahoma man told the thief that they had missed out on a “free complex” and other goodie. He blamed their “negative two IQ.” He would then conclude his video, saying, “I’m not even mad, just disappointed. ‘Cause, you did your job, but you didn’t do it really effectively, you know?“

Reactions

The video sparked multiple responses online, mostly from users matching Takunda’s energy. One said, “First in my bloodline to come across a post-robbery review.” Another one commented, “This is a green flag. His nervous system is regulated. I would be freaking out.”

Others, however, still believed that the amount of valuables in the car, while not stolen, was problematic. One wrote, “His take is funny, but we gotta have a conversation about what items not to leave in a car.” Another commenter asked, “Why are you leaving all that in the car?!“

In the end, the Oklahoma couple appeared to take the break-in remarkably well. Rather than dwelling on the damage, they even posted a follow-up video dancing in front of the smashed car window, suggesting they weren’t about to let one frustrating moment ruin their spirits. Judging by the reaction online, plenty of viewers admired their ability to laugh in the face of a situation that would have left many people fuming.
