Many know that some of the biggest companies out there are often not the best places to work. And while some employees or even customers who deal with these types of businesses just let many things slide, there are a few others who try to leave a mark and expose them. A situation like this happened not long ago at a Dunkin’ Donuts in Williston, Vermont, when an alleged disgruntled employee left a strong message for the higher-ups. Naturally, Vermont residents praised this, believing more people should be “sticking it” to those at the top.

Couldn’t get my coffee

The image was posted by Reddit user qwertyes69, who shared it on the Vermont subreddit. According to them, they were on their way to get their daily cold brew, but they discovered that no one was inside the establishment. Then they saw something written on a paper towel sign: “DNKN Higher-Ups = RICH and UNGRATEFUL.”

While there isn’t much context online about what led to the paper towel complaint, many believe it was from a disgruntled employee who clearly had an issue with those managing the establishment, at least judging by the message.

Oddly enough, this isn’t the first time something has happened at a Dunkin’ Donuts in Vermont, as there was also a similar situation in Derby a month ago, where staff members walked out of the business over a payment dispute.

In any case, several Redditors praised the staff’s actions and agreed that this was the right course of action, especially if management had done something wrong.

Even without proper context, several Reddit users believe this was something good and a strong message that those in charge of the business will eventually read.

“Love the paper towel banner—way to be creative.”

“Mad respect. People need to start demanding better.”

Several others even started saying this was an issue plaguing all Dunkin’ Donuts establishments, as some people claim these aren’t the best places to get coffee.

“Probably for the best. Vermont has better local coffee options.“

“Dunkin coffee is terrible.“

In the end, neither the one who placed the banner nor Dunkin’ Donuts has released an official statement, and there is also a lot of speculation surrounding the alleged employees’ actions. Yet it seems this has been a common issue across several of this company’s establishments, and one that both customers and staff hope will stop.
