Want to know where to find bugs in Disney Dreamlight Valley during Eyes in the Dark quest? As you progress through the Eyes in the Dark, you have to go through many trials, and around the middle of the way, Nala gets hungry, and you have to cook something tasty for her. In the best tradition of Hakuna Matata, there is nothing better than a satisfying bug dish called Bug Platter. You must cook as many as three of these dishes, but first, you must find and collect all the bugs. Some bugs hide underground, while others prefer the aquatic biome, but we are here to help you and tell you where to find all (Colorful, Red, Slimy) bugs in Disney Dreamlight Valley during Eyes in the Dark quest.

To cook three Bug Platters and progress through the Eyes in the Dark quest, you must collect 6 Colorful Bugs, 6 Red Bugs, and 3 Slimy Bugs. As we said, all these bugs prefer different habitats, and you will have to visit almost all the locations that you have passed in the Lion King Realm. Fortunately, you need only a little patience, a Fishing Rod, and a Shovel. Below you will find out where to look for each bug.

Where to Find Colorful Bugs in Disney Dreamlight Valley

To find Colorful Bugs in Disney Dreamlight Valley, you will have to travel to the dried oasis. The dry and hot climate is what the Colorful Bugs like, but still, for safety reasons, they do not crawl out of the ground. So take your Shovel to dig in different places in this location. It will probably take you no more than two minutes to collect six beetles and move on to the next step.

Where to Find Red Bugs in Disney Dreamlight Valley

Do not hide the Shovel, as you will still need it. After all, to find Red Bugs in Disney Dreamlight Valley, you must dig up little Stumps. Go to the jungle location (the place where you first met Simba) and find a couple of Stumps. Be ready! Because as soon as you dig up Stumps, the bugs will immediately begin running in all directions. You need to catch up and interact with them to catch a couple. Luckily they don’t run very fast.

Where to Find Slimy Bugs in Disney Dreamlight Valley

Finally, hide the Shovel and equip the Fishing Rod. To find Slimy Bugs in Disney Dreamlight Valley, you only must fish in the small pond next to Nala and Simba. Look for gold fishing spots and use your rod. After a couple of attempts, you will catch as many slime bugs as you need and be able to go to the cooking station. While the Bug Platter doesn’t look good, it’s what a hungry lion needs.
