Now that the game has been released, players can enjoy and experience the immersive world of Hogwarts Legacy for themselves. Among the many easter eggs and secrets you can find in Hogwarts Legacy, there is also the Giant Squid, and here is where to find it in the game.
Where to Find the Giant Squid in Hogwarts Legacy
First of all, you will be able to glimpse a little bit of the Giant Squid in Hogwarts Legacy as you are taking the flight lesson and going around the castle with your friend. As you pass the lake, you will see something enormous move, and that is the Giant Squid; you might even miss it initially since it only appears for a split second. But there is also another way you can find the Giant Squid in Hogwarts Legacy.
The first step of seeing the Giant Squid in Hogwarts Legacy, rather than the Flying Lesson, is to be a Slytherin. It is because you can only see the Giant Squid from the Slytherin common room, and it is only available for Slytherin students.
So let’s say you are a Slytherin student. In the common room, go near the viewing glass with the Black Lake view. You must hit the glass a few times with Basic Spell, then you will see the Giant Squid move again in the Black Lake.
