Darkness affects your beautiful and colorful valley, and your neighbors also feel things are not going well. All this is triggered by a mysterious pumpkin house, plus you have unlocked Forgotten Lands, Minnie Mouse, and you have the first six pillars restored. This is a series of quests from The Fairy Godmother. We refer to the Forgotten Memories: Nurturing quest, all because the Forgotten destroyed all life in Sunlit Plateau, including the Orb of Nurturing. Well, everything was Scar’s fault. Now, you must plant the Night Thorn Seeds in Disney Dreamlight Valley to reactivate the Pillar.

Disney Dreamlight Valley: How To Plant All Night Thorn Seeds

Once you’ve turned those innocent flowers into floral pancakes on the plateau, Scar will present you with a botanical challenge. While Scar gives you vague hints about where to plant the Night Thorns, he conveniently forgets to mention the exact spots he desires. We wouldn’t want to waste all that effort nurturing our precious Night Thorn Seeds only to realize they’ve sprouted in the wrong neighborhood. So these are the exact spots where you must plant the Night Thorn Seeds:

Giant Dreamlight Valley Tree

With so many trees around, it’s hard to know which giant tree Scar is referring to. To count these 5 Night Thorn seeds, plant them in a large tree with overgrown roots and vines. There are a few sparkles raining down that’ll serve as a clue.

Pillar of Nurturing

The following seeds should go near the Pillar of Nurturing— exactly where it all began. You’ll recognize this structure by its purple orb. It’s also overtaken by a tree and has a circle-shaped pond behind it. Just plant five seeds around it and water them. Once they have fully grown, the quest will be completed.

Mine Entrance in Dreamlight Valley

The Mines are also in the Sunlit Plateau, right next to the wooden bridge. You should plant to the waterfall’s left and tend the last 5 more Night Thorn Seeds.

Once all the Night Thorn Seeds you planted and have fully grown, you should return them to the Pillar of Nurturing in Disney Dreamlight Valley. Interact with the Orb of Nurturing to reactivate it. Then, head to Scar’s cave and speak with him, but the lion will be locked in his cave. Finally, Merlin will appear in memory, and you will return to the present with The Fairy Godmother.

Remember that all these missions with The Fairy Godmother are memories of what happened to the valley while the Forgotten was there, which will explain why everything is destroyed at the beginning of the game.
