Woman Brags About Ordering Five Steaks From Texas Roadhouse and Never Picking Them Up: ‘I Did Ask the Lord to Forgive Me’

Petty revenge served ice cold

A woman claims she got revenge on Texas Roadhouse by ordering five steak dinners over the phone and deliberately never showing up to collect them. The self-described payback move, aimed at the restaurant chain, has people arguing over just how much damage a no-show order can actually do.

So apparently this is the new “boycott.” This woman says she called Texas Roadhouse, ordered FIVE steaks and purposely never showed up to pick them up, then posted herself bragging about it like she accomplished something.

In the video, the woman explains that she called in an order for five steak dinners, then phoned again later to confirm it was ready. She says she was told yes – and simply never went to pick it up.

“I ordered five steaks, dinner. Okay? Over the phone. And guess what? I called to see if my order was ready. They told me yes. I never showed up,” she says, framing the move as retaliation for Texas Roadhouse having “played” her in the past.

She goes on to address the chain directly, warning it not to “play” with her again and insisting customers like her keep the business running. “We’re not to be played with, okay? We’re not to be played with. How y’all gonna do that to us? And 90% of the time we the ones giving y’all business, for real,” she says.

She closes out the clip by acknowledging the pettiness of the stunt, saying, “I did ask the Lord to forgive me, y’all.”

Internet Reacts to Woman’s Texas Roadhouse Revenge Order

The video, shared on X by @ClownWorld, prompted immediate skepticism and criticism in the replies. One commenter questioned the entire premise, writing, “I’ve never known a restaurant to take a food order, then prepare that order without first securing payment,” while another echoed the doubt more bluntly: “Sooooo… we are supposed to believe a major corporation took your order without getting payment information? For five steaks? A hundred plus dollar order?”

Others focused less on the logistics and more on the waste involved. One reply argued, “Five steaks died so she could feel politically relevant for twelve minutes,” while another took a more resigned tone, suggesting, “Texas Roadhouse writes it off as a tax loss. The employees got free steak dinners.”

A separate commenter dismissed the stunt entirely, calling the woman “crazy, as well as narcissistic and childish” and asking, “Don’t you have anything better to do?”

The clip is spreading as Texas Roadhouse is already facing backlash. In late August, a TikTok user claimed that a private Facebook group of white restaurant staff was discussing ways to sabotage orders from Black customers, including tampering with food and bread rolls, according to Rolling Out.

Texas Roadhouse called the claims “completely unfounded” and launched an internal investigation. In an August 24 email, the company said its investigation and information from outside sources suggested the viral claims were an online hoax.
