One of the most exciting aspects of a new Pokemon game is seeing the new creatures added to the Pokedex as trainers set out to catch ’em all, new and old. The latest entry in the franchise, Pokemon Legends: Arceus, continues that trend but with an added wrinkle as not only are their new Pokemon, there are also new versions of previously existing ones, with two Pokemon receiving this treatment being Voltorb and its evolution, Electrobe. These electric types debuted in Generation I, and now both have received new Hisuian versions, with the new version of Electrobe becoming a dual-type of Electric and Grass. With these Pokemon getting new looks, trainers will want to get their hands on them and will want to know how to evolve Voltorb. This guide will explain how to evolve Voltorb into Electrobe in Pokemon Legends: Arceus.

How To Evolve Voltorb In Pokemon Legends: Arceus

Unlike previous versions of Voltorb, which needed to get to level 30 to be able to evolve, the new Hisuian version of the Pokemon will require players to get their hands on an item known as a Leaf Stone. There are three ways to get this item; first, you can find one at the Trading Post with an NPC named Simona. You can find her by going to the west of Galaxy Hall in Jubilife Village. She will sell you the Leaf Stone for 1,000 Merit Points. Another way is to find them in a time-distortion area that can be found in the open world. You can also find the item to evolve Voltorb within both the Cloudpool Ridge and south of Droning Meadow locations found in the Crimson Mirelands. Finally, you are rewarded with a Leaf Stone is by completing Request #73 called “Which is the Real Burmy,” which you can also find in Jubilife Village after unlocking the “The Slumbering Lord of the Tundra” story quest. Completing this request will reward you with an EXP Candy and a Leaf Stone.
