We’ve already talked about how Resident Evil as a series gives you a lot of options to take down your enemies. The latest remake isn’t an exception to this trend. There are many weapons that you can get while playing that will definitely make your time in the village and its surroundings a lot easier. While some spend their money upgrading their existing guns, it is always better to replace them with a better one. If you are tired of the first shotgun you get in the game or the one in the deluxe edition, there’s one better. Here we’ll tell you how to get the Riot Gun in Resident Evil 4 Remake.

How to get the Riot Gun in Resident Evil 4 Remake

As you might’ve noticed already, most of the new guns and upgrades are locked behind the main story. Progressing through the chapters will unlock new things for you to buy. One of the first guns you’ll unlock and should prioritize is the Riot Gun, and here we’ll tell you how to get it in Resident Evil 4 Remake:

  • Reach Chapter 6
  • Head to the Merchant and look at the available weapons
  • The Riot Gun will be available for 28,000 Ptas.

As you can see, getting this gun isn’t hard at all. The real challenge is getting the money to buy it, but thankfully there are a lot of ways to farm some Ptas in the game.

Once you get the gun, you should upgrade its potency and reload speed. You have a hard fight ahead of yourself, and this shotgun will work perfectly during the chapter. If you don’t want to get it just yet, you can wait until you finish this chapter and sell all your treasures. There are many fights that’ll give you things to sell, so you can always hold off on buying the Riot Gun for a while. Still, we can’t recommend this shotgun enough as it’ll be useful throughout the last parts of the village and the castle. So, now that you know how to get the Riot Gun in Resident Evil 4 Remake, start saving some money and get it as soon as you can.
