It is surprising to see a survival game like Enshrouded with a huge skill tree. Gamers can pick their favorite role to play and even mix and match to make some fun builds. Whether you like to play with magic and launch fireballs at your opponents or charge with a huge two-handed weapon to obliterate enemies, the game is quite flexible. However, some might find a better item or armor in Enshrouded and will want to reset or respec their skills. Thankfully, there is a way to do that, and it doesn’t take long.

If you want to reset your skills in Enshrouded, you’ll need to do a bit of exploring. When you start the game, you might encounter a few enemies that, when defeated, drop Runes. This currency is important because it is the main thing you’ll need to respec your character. Here’s the breakdown of how to do it:

  1. Defeat enemies until you obtain Runes.
  2. Head to the Flame Altar and interact with it.
  3. Choose the bottom option to reset your skills.

You must pay ten runes to reset your skill points. It isn’t a high price, and farming this currency is quite easy, even in the starting area. However, we think there isn’t a big reason to respec so early in the game, as you should focus on skills that increase certain stats.

If you want to respec, we recommend waiting until you beat some of the bosses. Most of the game’s dungeons have chests with procedurally generated loot, which means you might find a weapon or accessory that fits a specific build. If that’s the case, you should head to your Flame Altar and get your skill points back to make the most out of it. And, if you’re a bit indecisive like many of us, start saving your Runes because you’ll likely need a bunch of them.
