Just look for the one that like, well, twigs.

This article is over 2 years old and may contain outdated information.

Resources like Twigs can be kind of difficult to figure out how to get in Enshrouded. In most games, you’d pick up twigs from doing basic actions, like chopping down trees. While that might be true for Enshrouded, it’s also among some of the most inefficient ways to build up your Twig stash in the game and can be pretty pricey in terms of the tools you’ll need to use and the time you’ll waste chopping down entire trees just to collect one or two twigs. There are much easier ways, and I’m here to clue you in on them.

There are three different places you can source Twigs from in Enshrouded. The first, and most obvious is from chopping down trees, but even from chopping down a massive tree, you might only come out with one or two Twigs and a massive dent in your Axe’s durability. If you really want to stock up on Twigs and start making arrows like nobody’s business, you’ll have to look toward more efficient methods.

It might seem a bit odd, but the best way to get Twigs in Enshrouded is by collecting them from bushes and random foliage that spawn around Embervale. I know, it seems weird. You’d think that would be the best way to collect Plant Fiber, which it is, but it has multiple drops. However, the type of bushes you collect from truly makes all the difference.

Any smaller bushes that had leaves covering them will reward you with at least one Twig, and no durability missing since you don’t need tools in order to do it. However, if you’re really looking to farm Twigs, search for the dead-looking bushes that are entirely lacking leaves. Rather than collecting one or two from it, you’ll pick up anywhere from three to five Twigs from a single one of these bushes. The best part, though, is that they spawn just about everywhere.

Just to recap quickly:

  • Trees drop some Twigs, but not enough for it to be worth it.
  • Bushes with leaves on them drop a Twig each, without the durability loss on your Axe.
  • Leafless bushes that look kinda dead drop the most Twigs out of any source in-game and don’t require tools.
