Georgia-based YouTuber Druski is known for a range of content, including controversial skits. His latest video has sparked significant backlash online, as it targeted Erika Kirk and conservative women.

In a video that has gone viral, Druski appeared nearly identical to Erika Kirk with the help of his makeup team. The more than two-minute clip quickly sparked debate online, as the YouTuber mocked Kirk and conservative women throughout the skit.

The video featured Druski dressed as Erika Kirk, wearing similar makeup and performing exaggerated dance routines. The portrayal appeared to reference her public appearances following the death of her husband, Charlie Kirk. Throughout the skit, Druski also mocked what he portrayed as the appearance and behavior of conservative women in everyday situations, with much of the content focusing on exaggerating Kirk’s expressions, including her well-known glare. At the end of the video, while still in character, he delivered a satirical line attributed to the portrayal: “We have to protect all men in America, especially all White men in America. Those are the boys that we care about in this country. America is built on their backs. Cause they are the ones who matter the most.”

The situation drew further attention when a user on X asked the AI model Grok to identify the woman in the video. Grok incorrectly identified Druski as Erika Kirk, highlighting how closely the YouTuber resembled her in the skit.

Druski’s video served as a reminder that online content does not always receive universal approval. While many viewers found the skit humorous, others, particularly conservatives, criticized it as offensive toward Erika Kirk and conservative women more broadly. As a result, the backlash extended to Druski himself, with some users mocking and criticizing the YouTuber in response to the video.

People’s Outrage After Georgia YouTuber’s Video

The video sparked reactions online. Many users criticized Druski, arguing that the skit went too far. One person wrote, “This is too far man… You were completely disrespectful during NFL Honors & now you’re making fun of Erika Kirk, whose husband was brutally assassinated. This ain’t it.” Another commenter said, “Despite her being taunted by smaller creators, we share a responsibility to know when something is too far, her husband actually was killed a few months ago. You can go viral with ease but why does it have to be at the cost of a family this time?” There were also more aggressive responses circulating online, with some users resorting to offensive language and personal attacks directed at Druski.

Others questioned how different audiences might respond if the situation were reversed. One person wrote, “Willing to bet you’d have a much different reaction if someone did the same type of thing about George Floyd’s family or black Democrats.” Some responses included offensive or inflammatory remarks. One commenter wrote, “This opens black face for everyone btw.” Another post targeted Druski directly, stating, “Tasteless, classless, and missing the funny element. This isn’t comedy it’s publicly harassing a widow. Good job fatty.” The range of reactions underscores the contentious nature of the video, with criticism often extending beyond the content itself to personal attacks and broader cultural debates.

The video posted by Druski proved to be highly controversial. While public debate and differing opinions are expected in response to such content, some reactions crossed the line into offensive and racist rhetoric, which has drawn further criticism online.
