Illinois is home to another viral meltdown, and this one leaves an entire store in ruins. A video circulating online shows two women in the middle of a chaotic outburst, tearing through a Dolton convenience store and leaving shelves and merchandise scattered across the floor.

Public meltdowns caught on camera have become a fixture of social media, but this one stands out for how much destruction unfolds in such a short clip. The footage, still spreading across platforms, has left viewers stunned, amused, and in some cases, demanding accountability.

According to the person recording, the two women became upset and trashed the store after the clerk refused to sell them alcohol. pic.twitter.com/lVW7qsrruI

The footage, shared by @Chicago_Goofies, shows two women inside a convenience and liquor store in Dolton, Illinois, aggressively shoving over shelving units and sending bottles, snacks, and other merchandise crashing to the floor. The store is left in disarray as the women move through the aisles, knocking down whatever is still standing.

Rather than leaving after the outburst, the women can be heard shouting near the store’s exit at the top of their lungs, with a man in a tank top standing nearby as the scene unfolds.

At one point, one of the women is heard saying, “It’s 2026.” The pair leave the store and return more than once, continuing to yell before the video cuts off. Text overlaid on the clip simply reads “Dolton,” tying the footage to the location.

According to the caption accompanying the video, the outburst followed a store clerk’s refusal to sell alcohol to the two women, though that detail doesn’t appear on camera and hasn’t been independently confirmed.

Internet Reacts to the Illinois Store-Trashing Video

Comments under the video ranged from outrage to dark humor. One commenter wrote, “Land of Lincoln rolling over in his grave,” while another tied the incident to the broader state of local businesses, saying, “This is the reason everything is closed in Dolton.” A third took a jab at the pair’s behavior, joking, “They clearly had enough alcohol for one night.”

Other commenters focused on accountability and what might come next. One wrote, “Should be easily identified. I hope they are prosecuted and convicted – but I’m not optimistic.” Another expressed concern about the ages of those involved, writing, “They look a wee bit young. They’ve been trained for the future.”
