Green-Haired Ohio Woman Says She Wants a Man to ‘Handle It,’ Gets Told Exactly What She Feared: ‘First of All, Calm Down’

She really wanted a hero

An Ohio woman found herself at the center of a social media spectacle after recording a solo rant for TikTok in her car. She was likely not expecting such a fiery response, but the interaction that followed was far from what she might have intended. Now, the video has gone viral, sparking numerous comments, and let’s say some of which are not very polite.

Somewhere in Ohio, a woman just learned that crying in your car with the front camera rolling is now a public event.

Having a meltdown and very overstimulated but I’ll handle it myself because a man would most certainly make it worse and ask me why I can’t calm down myself 🥲

The woman, who posts under the TikTok handle @abandonedmissfaye, filmed herself sitting in her car as she vented about wishing she had a man who could simply step in and handle things when she needed help.

Her issue, according to the video, is not just wanting help. It is worrying that if she gets emotional while asking for it, she will be told to calm down first and deal with it later.

She spelled it out herself in the clip: “I do in fact wish I had a man to take care of it. But if I start crying or raising my voice, a man is gonna tell me that he’s too busy and he has work to get done, and maybe I should calm down before he comes and helps me handle it. So yes, I would love a man to come and handle it. Is there a man who can handle it?”

Her frustrated confession quickly struck a nerve, particularly among viewers who focused on her comments about how she expected a man to react to her emotions.

Internet Reacts to Ohio Woman’s Car Rant

The comments quickly filled with viewers poking fun at the rant in different ways. Some turned her own concerns against her… Some immediately turned her own argument against her. “First of all, calm down,” one commenter wrote, while another added, “think you should go cool off for a bit.”

A third didn’t bother with words at all, joking, “My phone just went to the lowest volume setting.”

Others leaned into the irony directly, with one summing it up as, “She just proved the point,” and another sighing, “This is a prime example why I am single.”

Others took a more absurd approach, deliberately changing the subject rather than engaging with her complaint. “I just bought a new Blackstone grill last weekend, it’s awesome!!” one user wrote. Another chimed in with, “Anyways I bought a boat this week. pretty stoked about it,” while a third asked, “Anyone up for a little fishing? Or just a beer?”

One aggressively unbothered comment read, “I forgot something at the gas station.”

Whether viewers thought she had a point or simply needed to “calm down,” the Ohio woman’s search for a man willing to handle things clearly didn’t earn her much sympathy from TikTok. Instead, commenters seemed far more interested in fishing, boats, grills and just about anything else.
