In a post on r/mildlyinfuriating, H2O_is_good_for_you shared a Ring camera clip of the delivery driver dropping off the package. After a quick look around, he chose to walk across the mulch and grass instead of the driveway back to his car.
The driver’s deliberation was pretty obvious to everyone; as a Redditor put it, “He like even went out of his way to use the grass.” A good number of people sided with OP, who claimed it was more than just the deliveryman taking a simple shortcut. “Some consider it disrespectful to walk on someone’s lawn,” H2O remarked.
OP continued, adding that some don’t understand how hard it can be to keep a lawn looking pristine. “Manners have fallen to the wayside over the years,” they sighed. “I was taught manners…you don’t walk through people’s lawns unless you are allowed or supposed to be there,” shared a commenter. “It’s plain lazy and very inconsiderate!” exclaimed another in agreement.
