A Christian woman in Texas is being mocked online after claiming that Jesus appeared to dance with her after she asked him to.
The woman, who goes by CJ on TikTok, describes herself in her bio as “Jesus’ little Seer.” The situation began when she shared a video claiming that she had asked Jesus to dance with her on her birthday and believed that he had actually appeared in response to her request.
CJ claimed that she had told Jesus she wanted to swing dance with him. She also asked him to wink at her after they finished dancing so she would know it was really him. According to CJ, Jesus did not respond to her request at the time.
Later, CJ went to a club for line dancing, where she noticed a man who looked a “little rough.” She said he stood out like a “sore thumb” compared to the other people there. At one point, the DJ played a particular song for a line dance.
CJ claimed that she was the only person who knew the dance, so she performed it alone. After she finished, the crowd cheered for her. According to her, the man she had noticed earlier approached her, gave her a fist bump, and winked at her. She connected the gesture to her earlier request for Jesus to wink at her as a sign of his identity.
Following the encounter, CJ said she spoke to other people. She began wondering whether the mysterious man had actually been Jesus and tried to find him again, but was unsuccessful. She added that she had continued asking Father and Jesus whether the man she encountered was Jesus, as she remained uncertain about his identity.
What Happened Next
Following her initial video, CJ shared another clip discussing the encounter. She claimed that she had since spoken with Jesus and that he had confirmed he was the man who winked at her during the line-dancing event.
CJ said she asked Jesus why he had appeared as a “nerdy white dude, with blond hair?” According to her, Jesus responded that if he had appeared as a Middle Eastern man, he would have “stuck out.” She claimed that he told her the same would have happened if he had appeared as a black man.
CJ further claimed that Jesus explained he did not want her to think he was approaching her romantically or trying to hit on her. She continued describing their alleged conversation, saying that Jesus had reminded her that she asked him to dance with her, not to talk to her, which was why he had not spoken to her during their encounter.
Viewers Mock Christian Texas Woman Over Claim About Jesus
After watching the videos shared by the Texas woman, many viewers mocked her claims that Jesus had appeared to her in person. Some viewers were skeptical of CJ’s story and questioned whether the man she encountered was actually Jesus. Others responded with sarcasm, poking fun at the idea of Jesus showing up at a line-dancing event.
Others continued mocking the woman, with some making sarcastic remarks about her belief that Jesus had appeared at a line-dancing event. “All this war and hatred in the world and little did we know Jesus was line dancing this whole time. That’s what really matters!!” one person wrote. Other viewers questioned her account, with some finding the idea of Jesus appearing at a line-dancing event hard to believe.
Claims of seeing Jesus in person can draw mixed reactions, particularly when those experiences are shared publicly on social media. CJ’s story became another example of how personal religious beliefs can be met with both faith and skepticism, raising questions about whether such encounters are possible and how people interpret experiences they believe to be spiritual.
