According to Deadline, Ashton Kutcher, Evan Peters, Anthony Ramos, and Jeremy Pope are to star in the new Ryan Murphy FX thriller series, The Beauty. The series is based on the comic books by Jeremy Haun and Jason A. Hurley. Production on the 11-episode first season is slated to begin this fall, likely in November. However, as usual for a Ryan Murphy project, details are scarce.
All that is known at this time is the 2016 graphic novel by the same title is about an STD that makes those affected beautiful. But the disease, dubbed “the Beauty,” eventually kills its hosts as part of a suspected sinister government plot.
This news comes as a surprise to fans, especially when he is allegedly linked to Sean Diddy Combs’ growing legal drama.
