Warframe has no shortage of radioactive rocks that are needed for crafting some of the most powerful weapons in the game. Tellurium is among those rare radioactive rocks. Sadly, with the nerf to the Spare Parts cheese method of farming, getting it now is more difficult since you have to resort to older methods. But we’re here to recommend which among those methods might be the most cost-effective. Here are some of the best ways to get Tellurium in Warframe.
Where To Get Tellurium in Warframe
The most ideal area once more would be none other than Uranus. That’s because Uranus has both Archwing missions and land enemies that can drop Tellurium. Tellurium mostly drops from enemies in Archwing missions. But since Uranus has regular missions that interweave Archwings in underwater segments, some land enemies in certain nodes can drop Tellurium there.
Alternatives include Bounties in Fortuna and Archwing missions in Saturn, though Uranus is still the most preferable, especially when paired with certain Warframes and boosters. Still, consider these locations and nodes when you farm Tellurium in Warframe.
- Survival in Ophelia, Uranus – Actually, just about any map with the Grineer Sealab (Submersible) tileset will do, but Survival can be consistent.
- Mobile Defense in Salacia, Neptune – Archwing mission, so it might not be ideal if you need Tellurium fast and without building up your Archwing.
- Level 30-50 Bounty in Fortuna/Orb Vallis – Tellurium is given as a Bounty stage reward here. Don’t expect much from this roulette, however.
- Orphix Missions in Proxima – You’ll need a Railjack and a Necramech. Even then, the Tellurium farm is still dependent on luck.
Overall, the Survival mission in Ophelia, Uranus, remains the most accessible.
Fastest Way to Farm Tellurium in Warframe
Before you head over to Ophelia, Uranus, we have some tips to help you maximize your luck and your efforts in farming Tellurium. You can also apply some of these in other Tellurium farming locations.
- Bring Nekros or Hydroid – Nekros and his 3rd ability lets you squeeze more loot out of corpses, and hopefully, some of that loot is Tellurium. Meanwhile, Hydroid with the Pilfering Swarm augment mod makes his 4th ability work similarly, with extra loot.
- Equip the Spare Parts mod in your Sentinel – It got nerfed, yes, but this still lets you get more loot. Make sure to prioritize killing the enemies it marked for additional loot drops.
- Equip the Charm mod if you have a Smeeta Kavat – Works similarly to the Spare Parts mod but the cooldown is a little too high.
- Use your Resource Boosters – They work for Tellurium, thankfully.
- Steel Path – The loot drop chance is higher, and so is the difficulty. But it can shorten your farming session.
- Farm with a squad – This setup can sum up to four Nekros/Hydroids, four Spare Parts/Charm, four Resource Boosters, and still zero Tellurium (just kidding).
Note that even with these tips and the ideal Uranus farming spot, getting Tellurium in Warframe will still ultimately depend on your luck.
Warframe is available on Android, PCs, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and Nintendo Switch.
