Blake Lively received mixed feedback on Instagram last week as another of her It Ends With Us press tour looks raised eyebrows. The actress, 36, has been promoting her new movie non-stop, with her Thursday photos seeing her in London, U.K.
Continuing her floral-themed method dressing as her on-screen character Lily Bloom is a florist, Blake injected leafy accents into a draping white pantsuit, flying the flag for the no-shirt trend and seemingly upsetting some fans as a result. Dazzling in a loose-fitting two-piece from British designer Stella McCartney, Blake upped the ante a little in her open blazer jacket, and it would appear that the look was enough for one user to “unfollow” her.
Blake Lively Turns Heads Promoting New Movie
Posing outdoors and backed by London’s River Thames, Blake struck a pose in a tailored suit, going wide-legged in her loose pants and flashing hints of her bare chest via her open jacket.
Adding climbing leaf and flower effects from green and pink-embroidered detailing, the Gossip Girl star gave a nod to the floral themes she’s been rocking for the past few weeks, placing one hand inside a pocket and just about peeping her high heels.
Looking glamorous with plenty of sunkissed makeup on, Blake sported her signature blonde locks down, wearing diamond drop earrings, plus rings on her fingers. In a caption, Just Jared wrote: “Blake Lively is continuing her promo of “It Ends with Us” with an appearance today in London! She was joined by one of her co-stars, Isabela Ferrer.”
Jacket Situation Causing Drama In The Comments
While everyone is now used to the shirtless look as stars including Khloe Kardashian and Cardi B regularly rock it, not everyone was giving Blake the thumbs-up.
Over 20 fans have now liked a damning comment, shaming the mom of four’s feminine display.
“Okay this is a better outfit in recent days, however, she could have at least worn a bra! I mean she’s got the money 💰 to afford at least a bra,” they wrote. Seemingly angered by the shaming, another fired back, writing: “What an absolutely useless comment. “Better outfit” by whose standards? Yours? Some people just don’t live their lives by the standards of others.”
It got worse, though. Noting the inundation of press call photos as Blake continues to rock stylish outfits, one fan said that there was “too much” of the actress right now, with another replying: “Unfollowed, tired of seeing her 24/7. Just go away.”
Blake’s style has made major headlines for its full-on florals, but the biggest talking point was her look from three days ago. Slipping her curves into a vintage Versace dress worn by singer Britney Spears in 2022, Blake got everyone talking, particularly with the Spears biopic as yet uncast.
Many are hoping that the wife to Ryan Reynolds will take on the role.
