Brad Pitt has officially settled his divorce from Angelina Jolie. The couple, who were once affectionately known as “Brangelina,” split in 2016 after just two years of marriage and 12 years together. The pair share six children together, adoptive kids Maddox, Pax, and Zahara, and biological children Shiloh, Vivienne, and Knox. After several years of feuding over assets and child custody, the pair finally settled the divorce. However, it may have been Pitt’s current girlfriend, Ines de Ramon, who helped him finally face the music and get the job done.
Sources tell Page Six that it was Ines de Ramon who influenced Brad Pitt to settle the divorce and get Angelina Jolie out of his life. The jewelry designer allegedly wanted the actor to be free of Jolie so that they could move on with their lives together. The pair have been rumored to be headed toward marriage. There is also speculation that they’re considering starting a family together.
โHe was influenced by Ines to finally settle,โ an insider dished. โInes wants to have a life together โ with possibly children in the future โ without the albatross that was the eight-year War of the Roses.โ
Meanwhile, many fans believe that babies and marriage will come sooner rather than later for Brad and Ines.

“New year and New Beginnings for Brad,” one person commented.
“His gf is or will soon be pregnant. She’s waited a long time for this. Not going to let this one get away,” another wrote.

“She pushed him to settle the divorce so she could move in. How long until they’re married?” a fourth comment read.
All the while, Jolie is said to be focused on her family and career. After the divorce papers were signed she released a statement via her lawyer.

Over the years, Brad and Angelina’s divorce battle has gotten ugly. The were engaged in a bitter custody battle. Unfortunately for Pitt, the couple’s children seem to have sided with their mother. Many have even stopped using the actor’s last name in the years since their parents split. The couple’s oldest biological daughter, Shiloh, went as far as to legally drop Pitt from her name. She now goes by Shiloh Jolie.
Pitt’s Relationship With His Children Still On The Rocks
Brad was said to be devastated by the situation. An insider told People Magazine that it hasn’t been easy for the actor. He reportedly misses his children and is “very sad” about how things have played out.
Before his marriage to Jolie, Pitt, 61, was married to actress Jennifer Aniston. That marriage also ended in scandal. There were rumors that he and Jolie had carried on an affair. Shortly after splitting with Aniston, Pitt went public with Jolie and soon announced her pregnancy.
For her part, de Ramon, 31, was previously married to Vampire Diaries star Paul Wesley. The couple tied the knot in 2019, but went their separate ways three years later in 2022.
