Carrie Underwood was back in workout mode today, posting to both her main Instagram and the feed that promotes her Fit52 app. Showing off her fit figure in a hot pink gym look as she flaunted some serious flexibility, the 40-year-old stunned fans as she offered them a sweet freebie, and early replies to the post were positive.
Carrie may be plugging her 2020-founded app, but the singer is making headlines for other reasons this week. On Father’s Day, the American Idol winner’s home caught fire, although fortunately nobody, including the star’s pets, was hurt.
Carrie Underwood Impresses Instagram With Gym Stretch
All smiles from an indoor space, Carrie sat on a blue yoga mat, reaching her hands forward to touch her toes.
Going girly in a bright pink tank top and matching shorts, the blonde was likely outfitted in her popular CALIA athleisurewear range, founded in 2015. Flashing hints of her world-famous legs as she highlighted her rippling arm muscles, Carrie also drew the eye to her sculpted shoulders, looking right at the camera and sending out a confident energy.
Wearing her light locks scraped back, Carrie kept glam with a lightweight layer of foundation under rosy blush, also rocking a glossy lip. In a joint caption with Fit52, Carrie opened with: “GIVEAWAY TIME” as she told fans: “Ready to build a wellness routine that sticks? We’ve got you.”
Cult Workout App Gains Seal Of Approval
Encouraging new users to give her app a go without opening their wallets, Carrie continued:
“Try the fit52 app FREE for 30 days, and enjoy fitness motivation from an incredible community (hey #fit52fam), endless flexibility to make the workouts work for you, and delicious recipes. Sign up at the link in our bio and tag a friend who you think would love to try fit52.”
The workout queen, who already boasts over 150,000 Fit52 followers on Instagram, was told to “keep up the good work” by one fan, with others sending her fire emoji. Meanwhile, replies on Fit52 largely came from users already paying for the app that also includes couples workouts with Carrie’s husband Mike Fisher.
“I love this app! It’s challenging but keeps it fun,” one fan replied. Carrie, who suffered from disordered eating following her 2005 American Idol win, is now a fitness icon complete with two fitness-centric brands, a BODYARMOR promo deal, and an unofficial status as having the “best legs in country music.”
Carrie is not alone in the world of celebrity fitness. Also known for jumping into the wellness and exercise space are stars including model Jordyn Woods and Oscar winner Halle Berry.
