While out and about, a Colorado woman was confronted by a couple in their vehicle, wherein the man called her a racist slur. After the woman posted the video on TikTok, viewers got right to work identifying the man. And surprisingly, with the help of the man’s family.
TikToker Yumi (TikTok/Senorita_yumi) shared the video wherein a man had started making racist comments towards her, including a slur. They drove up to her in a parking lot, though Yumi did not state the circumstances that led up to this confrontation.
What can be heard is the couple shouting at her, with the woman’s husband being clearly heard calling Yumi a “beaner.” Yumi states they “keep saying ‘go back to Mexico.’” The racist man even goads Yumi by speaking Spanish and telling her to “record” them.
Even worse, this is all while the couple’s child was in the back of their vehicle. Meanwhile, the driver screams at her, “You can’t even drive your truck, [expletive]!” The man sticks his head out the window and tells her to “go post it” online for everyone to see.
Yumi replies, “I will! TikTok as well!” He responds by telling her, “I bet you live in the ghetto and your boyfriend makes all the money, huh?” She laughs and refuses to feed into his racist comments.
The Internet finds out who the man is and where he lives
Viewers in the comment section of Yumi’s video banded together to find out the man’s identity—a man named ‘Zander.’ The twist came from commenters who knew of the man personally, including family and a neighbor. One commenter pointed out an even, saying, “With children in the vehicle is crazy 👀.”
“Yo I know that dude that’s my neighbor Zander,” said a TikTok user. Another neighbor responded as well, saying, “Yes that’s my neighbor too he lives 3 houses away.” This led to commenters asking for his address.
Adding evidence to his identity, another commenter claimed, “Bro that’s my uncle zander💀💀.” They shared they hadn’t spoken with him in several years. And, surprisingly, that both they and Zander were “both from Mexico” and that Zander is “just a guero.”
Interactions like this highlight the fact that being racist out in the open, and showing your face, is just a recipe for getting doxxed. Especially when said doxxing is helped along by your own family.
