Cyberpsychosis in Cyberpunk 2077 is a deadly condition that is on the rise in Night City. People with too much cybernetics and cyberware have the chance to lose their minds. They become deadly psychos intent on killing anyone around them. Think of them as killing machines completely devoid of humanity. In Cyberpunk 2077, cyberpsychos can be found littered across Night City for you to find and deal with.
In total, there are seventeen cyberpsychos for you to come across. Each is in different parts of the city and are different degrees of difficulty. To make the search for these psychos easier, we’ve compiled the full list of them here as well as some tips and tricks to easily defeat them.
All Cyberpsychos in Cyberpunk 2077
Every Cyberpscyho sighting has its own side mission title attached. They’ll usually pop up whenever you get close enough to their area, and Regina will give V a call. To make things a little easier, we’ve separated the cyberpsycho sightings by the regions in Night City.
Lt. Mower is a Militech agent that was abandoned by her corporate overseers. She can be found North East of the Halsey and MLK fast travel point. You’ll know you’ve found it when you come across a lot of Militech vehicles cordoning off a building. She’ll be in the empty courtyard nearby.
Mower is one of the easier cyberpsychos to handle early in the game. Though there is no cover in the courtyard she’s located in, you should just keep moving along the edges of the courtyard to stay ahead of her. Then you can take shots at her every so often. She’ll just keep rushing at you, but she can be stunned with a few good shotgun shots.
Matt Liaw was another corporate agent before he was let go when his medication and therapy costs got to be too much. As a homeless man, he can be found on an unfinished highway in Kabuki. Unlike Mower, Liaw will snipe players from afar rather than rush them with melee attacks.
Though sniping back at Liaw might seem like the more appealing option, you should instead rush him as quickly as you can. The cover on the bridge makes this exceptionally easy. Once you are close enough, you should just keep pelleting Liaw with a shotgun or high-powered rifle.
Alec Johnson is in his own little contained area on the docks near the south-west side of Little China. He’s a bit of a beefy boy, but his encounter is pretty easy. When you first enter the area, you will see Alec shouting at himself facing a wall. This is a prime opportunity for an easy headshot. After that, he’ll jump up on a storage container to shoot from the high ground but will switch to melee once his health goes below half.
Lely Hein is on the train tracks near the Ebunike Docks fast travel point. You will find him at the end of the train tracks, and if you’re lucky you can get a quick sneak attack on him before he knows you’re there. Lely is also a sniper, but you need only lob a couple of grenades his way to smoke him out of his cover. Having a tech weapon to punch through his cover as well would be ideal.
Our Other Cyberpunk 2077 Guides
Ellis is a Maelstrom gang member who is hiding out behind a fuel tank down an old alleyway. The alleyway is located near the Perishing Street fast travel point, and you’ll know when you’re getting close when Regina calls for the Where the Bodies Hit the Floor mission.
Ellis is incredibly fast and evasive. He’ll be dodging around the player and getting some quick swipes in wherever he can. Unfortunately, those hits can deal a lot of damage. Be sure to equip a gun that can fire quickly to put him down as fast as you can.
This cyberpsycho is a bit unusual compared to the others in Cyberpunk 2077 as Regina will have to call you with a side gig to find her. The gig Occupational Hazard has V investigate why a brain dancer editor has gone quiet and to go and rescue him from whatever he’s gotten himself in. Turns out one of his brain dances turned Anna Nox into a cyberpsycho.
This fight can get difficult because Anna has no problem rushing in with her mantis blades. Just a few hits can decimate your health. Be sure to use as many grenades as you can and keep your distance.
Zaria Hughes is located near the north-west section of the Northside. She will only appear after 8 pm, and you need to prepare for a hard fight as she is a bit of a nightmare. She can deal heavy damage with both her ranged and melee attacks. An easier way of dealing with her (that is kind of cheating) is to hop up on a van that is in her area.
The van will stop her from pouncing on you with her mantis blades, and provide quick cover when she starts taking shots at you with her pistol. Having gear with thermal resistance is also a good idea for this fight.
Dao Hyunh is located at the Seaside Cafe in Heywood. You’ll know you’ve found her when you see a crowd of people looking over a railing before they run away. Once you look over the side and catch her attention, she’ll jump up to the railing and come fight you. She only has a pistol, so you can quickly deal with her.
Gaston is located in an auto-repair shop on the west side of Heywood not too far from Dao Hyunh. You’ll be able to enter the area through a small gap in an ajar gate. But be on the lookout for mines. Gaston has booby-trapped the whole area, but they can be used against him. It’s better to pick off Gaston from afar with a rifle rather than up close. Combined with the mines that you can set off on Gaston, he can quickly be taken care of.
City Center Sightings
Cedric can be found on the bottom floor of a parking garage in the west of City Center. You will know you’ve found him when they see the absolute devastation he is bringing upon the NCPD. Cedric is difficult because he’ll end up healing throughout the fight. There’s really nothing you can do but keep shooting away so make sure you have plenty of ammo available.
Norio Akuhara can be found near the central circular building in City Center. You will see Tyger Claws searching for Norio and you’ll know you’ve found him when you see him killing them. Norio has a pistol and a katana, but he can do a lot of damage with both. It doesn’t help that once he reaches half health, he’ll run away. Simply chase him and wait for him to finish with some Tyger Claws before reengaging.
Ben Debaillon is north of the Grand Imperial Mall in Pacifica. You will have to open a garage door to start the encounter. The most annoying thing about Ben’s fight is that he has employed the use of mechs and cameras. Make sure to disable all the cameras to ensure they don’t spot you and call the mechs to your location. Once those are taken care of, Ben can be easily handled.
Diego can found at the end of a long pier on the west side of Coastview. He can be a pretty hard fight because of the heavy-duty shotgun he wields. Just a few shots will rip through V’s armor and tear down V’s health. The trick to beating him is to do so from afar. He won’t make it easy as he’ll try to get close but a couple of well-placed sniper shots should have him down in no time.
Santo Domingo Sightings
Tamara is located in a homeless camp near the Hargreaves St. fast travel point. She won’t appear immediately. You will have to investigate the bodies in the back of the encampment for her to spawn. Be careful. As soon as she spawns, so do the turrets that are right above the bodies. These are what can really kill you. Tamara is also a netrunner who will overheat you as well as shoot you with her pistol. Disable the turrets first and lob grenades at Tamara to stop her from overheating V.
Chase Coley is located in Rancho Coronado behind a ripperdoc clinic. He is one of the hardest cyberpsychos in Cyberpunk 2077 because he is wearing a mech suit similar to the Royce boss fight. So, you should be sure to have leveled yourself properly before starting this fight. He’ll be almost impenetrable to attacks while dishing out high damage. You will have to get creative in working around his giant shield to take him down.
Russel Greene can be found north of the highway heading east and a little south of Rocky Ridge. He has a good size compound that is filled with landmines, droids, and turrets while Russel will be hiding out in the garage. He wields a mean shotgun, but he will be an angel to deal with once the mechs are destroyed.
Zion Wylde is another sniper cyberpsycho that has found himself a nice spot in the windfarms of the Badlands. This fight can get difficult because there is not as much cover as there was for the other sniper fights. Zion has positioned himself nicely on a high outpost. It might be better just to have a sniper duel rather than get close, but if you decide to take your chances, any cover is a must.
Euralio Alma can be found near the road heading east in the Badlands. Just follow the bodies and the blood trail and you’ll eventually see her. You can’t miss her because she also has a giant mech suit. Simply target the battery on the back of the suit and eventually, you can do some damage to her. Be warned she is one of the buggier cyberpsycho fights in Night City, though she might have been fixed in the few recent patches.
And there you have it! These are all the cyberpsychos in Cyberpunk 2077. Most of these are pretty difficult fights, so be prepared to reload a few saves if you need to. Let me know in the comments below which one was your favorite!
